From Goodreads: “The choices I had made led to the moment when fate took over. I would learn a lesson I wasn’t prepared for.
And Death would be my willing teacher.”
Five years ago Abbey Chandler cheated Death. She survived a horrific car accident, but her lucky break came at the expense of her mother’s life and changed everything. After she crossed paths with Death—by taking the hand of an ethereal boy made of clouds and sky—she would never be normal again.
Now she’s the target of Death’s Ravens and an innocent boy’s life is on the line. When Nate Holden—Abbey’s secret crush—starts to climb Alaska’s Denali, the Angel of Death is with him because of her.
Abbey finds out the hard way that Death never forgets.
And now… my Interview with Author Jordan Dane
Which do you prefer?
Cheap or expensive clothes?
Expensive – For all you know, that is exactly what I buy and can afford. (snicker)
Summer or Winter?
Winter. (I live in Texas, so winter means something different here, but I love a good fire and fall clothes and a hearty bowl of vegetarian chili.)
Coffee or tea?
Coffee – definitely. Java girl.
Heels or Flats?
Flats. (I love the look of really cool heels but always on someone else.)
Veggies or Junk food?
Veggies. (I’m a newly converted vegetarian so I can still be persuaded to scarf junk food. Just sayin.’ I’m weak.)
Soft or loud music?
Loud & proud.
CD’s or radio?
CDs – fo sho. Who needs the commercials?
TV or movies?
Movies. (I like some really cool TV shows this season, but I love watching a movie in a dark theatre where I might ‘sneak eat’ some chocolate. Who can resist chocolate, eh?)
Horror or Romance?
Romance. (I have enough horror in my life. When I want entertainment, I generally want to be a girly girl and cry at a good romance story. *sniff*)
Kisses or Hugs?
Hugs. (Man, there is nothing like a great bear hug. And I love guys who are especially skilled at this and don’t care if they hug other guys or their dads too. Big teddy bears!)
Rats or Spiders?
Spiders. (Rats? No way. They rank up there with snakes on my horror scale, but I don’t like to kill ANYTHING. I will walk a spider out of my house. I even liberated a mouse from my garage, but rats and snakes, I start contemplating weaponry.)
Wood or metal?
Wood. (Love the texture and even the smell of it, although I like contemporary design for furniture. Is that ambiguous enough? HA!)
Driver or passenger?
Passenger. (Gawd, what does that say about me? I just like looking around.)
Morning or Night?
Night – definitely. (My husband is a total morning person. Soooo hate that. He wakes up cheery too. Ugh! When we lived in Alaska, during the peak of winter, the sun comes up mid morning and goes down mid afternoon. I got a kick out of saying I’d get up when the sun did. He couldn’t argue. A friend once told me that he always liked to stay in the state he was in—if he was awake, he wanted to stay awake. And if he was asleep…you get the picture. I could totally relate to that.)
Babies or Toddlers?
Neither. You totally stumped me. (At my front door I have a measurement thingee, like a really scary roller coaster. If you aren’t THIS tall, you can’t come in. Unfortunately for me, babies and toddlers can’t read. *sigh*)
